Hello! I’m Fatima, an UX/UI designer…
I am an undergraduate student studying Interaction Design at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, expected to graduate in April 2025. I am currently seeking an internship or entry-level position in UX design as a UX/UI Designer, Interaction Designer, or UI Designer.
My areas of focus are user research, card sorting, information architecture, interaction design, and conducting usability tests. I deliver artifacts such as personas, dendrograms, affinity diagrams, low and high fidelity wireframes, clickable mockups, and usability test reports.
I am familiar with various design systems for websites and web applications, as well as for phone and tablet in both iOS and Android platforms.

Art can be defined as any creative activity and is often subject to personal interpretation, while the intent of design is to solve a problem and convey a specific, clear message understood similarly by its audience.
I believe in combining design and art to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user experiences. My approach is centered around understanding user’s needs and behaviours through research and empathy. I strive to design solutions that are not only functional but also engaging and visually captivating. By balancing creativity with usability, I aim to craft digital experiences that resonate with users and leave a lasting impression.
